The Accommodation

Each of the generously proportioned rooms have telephone, TV and data points. all rooms enjoy en-suite facilities including a walk in shower. Staverton House Lounge

The gardens have been designed to create a sense of security and incorporate a wild life area, greenhouse for residents and areas to wander safely and sit quietly.

Throughout the home considerable thought has been put into the decor to enable residents to remain orientated, feel safe and as independent as possible.

Our staff are highly experienced and motivated. The utmost care is taken in recruitment, retention and staff development. All staff are trained to nationally recognised standards.

All staff have an understanding and empathy with dementia care, and our staff team is supported by outreach District Nurses, Community Psychiatric Nurses and Psychologists.

Dining

Our residents have a choice of 2 dining areas.

Breakfast is according to individual choice, and taken in the residents' rooms or the dining room.

Lunch and supper are taken in the dining room and a choice of menu is available daily. As far as possible locally sourced fruit and vegetables are used. Sherry is served before lunch and wine is available if wished.

Menus are changed on a daily basis to take into account seasonal produce and residents' wishes.

We also have themed menus for special events including celebrating birthdays where the resident chooses the menu for the day.

There are also home made cakes, biscuits and snacks available throughout the day and night.
